Other Calculators
A lumber volume calculator and a snow day estimator that don’t fit one box, with their methods written out in full.

Which tool do I need?
Board Feet Calculator. when buying or cutting lumber and logs, where nominal sizes such as a “2×4” differ from actual dimensions.
Snow Day Calculator. to get a rough idea of closure chances before a storm. It is a heuristic estimate to help plan the morning, not a forecast, and never the official decision, which belongs to the school district.
